Pay Rate: $61,465.00 annually plus a generous benefits package designed to support your well-being and future:
- $5,000 sign-on bonus. (Must remain employed for 2 years.)

Required Qualifications:
- Experience as a police specialist, principles and practices of police supervision.
- Supervisory experience.
- Ability to enforce laws, write reports according to specific instructions.
- Knowledge of Commonwealth law, rules, and regulations governing motor vehicle operation and personal conduct for employees or visitors at Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education Universities or of modern police practices and methods used in crime investigation and the identification and preservation of physical evidence and Commonwealth provisions for emergency situations.
- Act 120 Certification or ability to be certified as a police officer through the PA Municipal Police Officers Education and Training Commission (MPOETC) by date of hire.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail within these communications.
- Demonstrated ability to use tools of police profession such as firearms, emergency vehicles, surveillance equipment and forms of defense (non-lethal and less-than-lethal).
- Successful experience working with diverse groups at athletic, social and cultural events.
- Ability to: meet such qualifications regarding strength, agility and health; lift up to 50 pounds without assistance and move more than 50 pounds with assistance; work in adverse weather; sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time; maintain physical conditioning to be able to handle the physical requirements of the job.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Evidence of a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Valid driver's license.
- Successful interview.
- Successful completion of the pre-employment physical, psychological, firearms tests and background evaluation.
- Successful completion of three background checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
- Experience: working with college-age population; with parking and crowd control.
- Two years experience in police patrol supervision.
- POSIT patrol supervisor or equivalent training.
- Patrol experience centered on community engagement and problem solving.
- ICS 100 – 400 certification.
Days Worked: Sunday - Saturday. Hours/Shift worked: 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. with alternating weekends.
