The University of Houston’s Smart Systems Security (SSS) Lab, within the Department of IST at the Cullen College of Engineering, is seeking motivated and talented post-doctoral researchers to join our team. Our lab focuses on addressing critical security challenges for cyber-physical systems (CPS), Internet of Things (IoT) devices, autonomous systems, and other emerging smart technologies. • The selected candidate will lead an exciting project focused on security and privacy in Telepresence Systems, including VR, MR, and XR technologies.
• Develop and implement methods for real-time user authentication in telepresence systems using various teleinteraction device sensors.
• Ideal candidate should possess, understand, and apply a comprehensive knowledge in area of specialization.
• Develops understanding and skills to allow for completion of assignments that cross fields of specialization.
