Conceptualize, develop and execute an individualized training plan related to health development. Conduct research training coursework, and research activities, which may include investigator-initiated pilot studies, that are aligned with mentor teams research, ensuring consistency with established methodological approaches and models, adherence to project timelines, and completeness of documentation; write and publish articles in peer-reviewed journals that highlight findings from research and experimental activities ensuring consistency with the highest standards of academic publication; communicate to primary mentor and training grant co-directors (who will serve on the mentorship team) about progress and results of research activities and relevant related information in a timely manner; develop collaborative links and good communication skills with other members in group/core scientific staff in related program areas to gain exposure to, and build knowledge of experimental research activities and approaches in order to subsequently improve conceptual development and implementation of individual project. Participate in training program seminar in the Science of Health Development across the Lifespan. Complete required Responsible Conduct of Research in-person training as well as all other required trainings for the conduct of research at the university in health sciences.

Required Minimum Education

PhD

Required Qualifications

Must be a nurse and have at least one nursing degree; PhD in nursing preferred. Publication record of common human subjects research methods with statistical analysis; peer reviewed publications and presentations; experience with grant writing.
