Job Description

This position will be supported by our DoD project for two years. The object of this DoD project is to investigating possible mechanism underlying lung tumorigenesis and develop potential biomarker for the early detection of lung cancer.

The "to be hired post-doc fellow" will participate in this research study by specially focusing on functional analysis of cancer-associated genes by using in vitro and in vivo models and developing cancer biomarkers.

The candidates should have PhD or MD with strong background in molecular genetics. The candidates should be very familiar with the techniques, including Cell culture, Gene transfection, RNA extract, RT-PCR; Real-time quantitative PCR, DNA cloning, Plasmid construction and transformation, Western blotting, Reporter assays, CHIP, MTT assay, Flow cytometry, Transgenic mouse, xenograft animal model, Florescence microscopy, Confocal microscopy, Paraffin section, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry, et al.

Qualifications

The candidates should have PhD or MD with strong background in molecular genetics.
