Job Description
Conducts research in chemistry, mentors undergraduate research students. Designs experiments, conducts and troubleshoots experiments, analyzes data, communicates science, maintains instrumentation, assists undergraduate research students with laboratory work, contributes to other teaching activities as appropriate.
Laboratory chemistry research, chemical literature research. Maintaining and troubleshooting scientific instrumentation, assisting undergraduate research students with laboratory work, contributing to other teaching activities as appropriate. Cooperates and collaborates with other employees in the spirit of teamwork and collegiality. Complies with all of Trinity University policies and guidelines.
Education
- PhD in chemistry or related discipline
Experience
- Graduate training in chemistry or related discipline
Preferred
- Experience with synthetic organic chemistry, and/or NMR spectroscopy
