Post-Doctoral Research Associate (Fixed Term)
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 6 months in the first instance.
Applications are invited for a post-doctoral researcher to work with Prof. Michele Vendruscolo at the Centre for Misfolding Diseases, Department of Chemistry, University of Cambridge (http://www-vendruscolo.ch.cam.ac.uk/). The post is to work on a research programme on the study of the phase behaviour of alpha-synuclein and its links with Parkinson's disease.
The position will involve the use of a variety of biophysical methods. The applicant should have (or be about to obtain) a PhD in a relevant specialist subject and a background in experimental biophysics or related disciplines.
All candidates should have a keen interest in applying biophysical methods to complex biological systems and enjoy working in a highly multidisciplinary, dynamic and collaborative environment.
The post will be available from 1 April 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter.
