About the role
The Blavatnik School of Government is looking to recruit a Post-Doctoral Research Officer to contribute to research and projects conducted by the Oxford Institute of Technology and Justice.
will contribute to compilations of relevant caselaw, practice and potential use cases and assist with the drafting of research papers and briefings. The post-holder will also work on policy recommendations for strengthening the potential of digital evidence, and on standards in relation to the use of AI in the collection, analysis and generation of digital evidence
This is a variable hours post (maximum of 20 hours per week), fixed term until 31 December 2026.
About you
You will be required to hold a relevant degree with specialist knowledge of international criminal law, human rights law and/or AI and technology. As well as this you should have relevant experience of the use and evaluation of new technologies in a legal context, including cases involving digital evidence at the domestic or international level.
