Job Title: Post Doctoral Scholar
Department: Engineering | Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering
Performs basic or applied research in the area of AI/ML with applications to vehicle aerodynamics and aeroacoustics; act as first-level advisor to one or more students on their projects; train others in the group with newly developed AI/ML tools/procedures; prepares research results for publication in reports and papers; prepares and documents information resulting from these studies and reports to sponsors; prepares research results and reports, conference and journal papers, and technical presentations; assists in mentoring student employees; attends research group meetings.
Additional Information:
Required Education: Doctorate (Academic) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Applied Mathematics
Desired Education: Doctorate (Academic) in the above majors with a focus of study in the fields of AI/ML, aerodynamics and acoustics, and computational methods. Demonstrated strong written communication skills.
Required Experience: N/A
Desired Experience: Doctoral degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, expertise in the fields of AI/ML, aerodynamics and acoustics, and computational methods; Strong written communication skills.
