Post Doctoral Scholar - Scandinavian Studies
The Department of Germanic Languages and Literature within the College of Arts and Sciences invites applications for a Post Doctoral Scholar position hire a full-time postdoctoral associate in the field of Scandinavian Studies. Scholars with expertise in Old Norse are especially encouraged to apply. This position is supported by the Vorman-Anderson Faculty Fund for Nordic Languages and Literatures.
Required Education:
Ph.D. Scandinavian or related field by start date; native or near-native fluency in a Scandinavian Language
Required Qualifications:
Record of excellence in research and teaching; willingness and ability to teach either in-person or online, as needed; ability to work collegially and effectively with students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds as well as foster an inclusive classroom and working environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Scholars with expertise in Old Norse are especially encouraged to apply
