Post Graduate Development Coordinator
- Reference number: 25127
- Term: Fixed-term, full-time basis for twenty-four (24) months.
- Remuneration: $135,483 to $153,562 pa (HEW8) (inclusive of $114,485 to $129,761 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
- Location: Gardens Point (hybrid option available)
- Open to: Current staff members of QUT who have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of the fixed-term appointment. Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Post Graduate Development Coordinator to join Office of the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Engineering.
The Postgraduate Development Coordinator is primarily responsible for leading the development and implementation of activities to grow the Faculty’s industry-aligned postgraduate coursework offerings. They will work closely with, and provide high level advice to, diverse stakeholders to ensure these offerings are aligned with industry priorities and attractive to organisations and future students. In fulfilling this role, the Postgraduate Development Coordinator will coordinate with various industry, government and not-for-profit partners, as well as internal stakeholders including students, academics, and related Faculty/Divisional support functions to ensure the success and relevance of the Faculty’s postgraduate coursework initiatives.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in leading successful programs of activity including effective project planning and management to achieve alignment with strategic directions and outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in and across multi-disciplinary teams and activities to consistently deliver a high standard of service to a range of clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, negotiation and relationship management skills to realise new opportunities and grow productive partnerships, including through formal agreements.
- Demonstrated excellent written communication skills including the development of timely and directed communication materials for internal and external audiences to support engagement in education.
- Demonstrated high level of digital literacy.
- Proven ability to develop, monitor and work within budget.
