What We're Looking For

Baylor University is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. This postdoctoral research associate position is in the area of micro/nanoscale device design, fabrication, and characterization. The successful candidate will work as part of a research team focused on developing advanced microsystems for sensing, actuation, and energy conversion applications.

A doctoral degree and less than one year of work experience is required.

What You Will Do

• Conduct independent and collaborative research on the design, fabrication, and testing of micro/nano devices and systems
• Perform cleanroom-based microfabrication processes both inside and outside the cleanroom environment
• Carry out structural, electrical, and functional characterization of fabricated devices, analyze data, develop models, and contribute to the optimization of device performance
• Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present results at professional conferences
• Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
• Ability to comply with University policies
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
