"Postdoctoral Associate, Applied Economics and Policy, SC Johnson College of Business"

The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business invites applicants for a Postdoctoral Associate position for a 1-year term (with the possibility of renewal for an additional year) in our Applied Economics and Policy (AEP) area, with a school affiliation in the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management. The Postdoctoral Associate will contribute to quantifying the private value of improved soil health across the U.S. using econometric techniques and combination of large-scale datasets. The start date of this position could be as early as March 1, 2026, but a latter start date is possible. The position will be based in Ithaca, NY under the supervision of Prof. Ariel Ortiz-Bobea (Dyson) and in coordination with Dr. Joseph Amsili, Director of Cornell's Soil Health Program.

In compliance with New York's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $62,232 - $67,824 for a 12-month appointment. Cornell University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Range:
$62,232.00 - $88,745.00
