Postdoctoral Associate (Dubovsky)
Applications are invited for one postdoctoral associate position in theoretical high energy physics in the Center for Cosmology and Particle Physics (CCPP) at New York University. The position is for 3 years subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds. The postdoctoral associate will work in the research group of Prof. Dubovsky and will be a member of the Simons Collaboration on Confinement and QCD Strings. The CCPP is a unique group of faculty, students and research scientists working together on fundamental questions in particle physics, string theory, astrophysics and cosmology. We are seeking candidates with research interest in non-perturbative aspects of quantum field theory and string theory. CCPP strives to further NYU's mission as an inclusive institution and encourages applications from a diverse set of candidates. Conduct research independently and in collaboration with the PIs of the Simons Collaboration and other CCPP members, give and help organize research seminars, participate in the intellectual life of CCPP.t problem solving are necessary.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $62,500 - $68,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
