Description
The Yale University Department of History invites applications for a Cassius Marcellus Clay Postdoctoral Associate in the History of Sexuality in the U.S. The fellow will be affiliated with the Yale Research Initiative on the History of Sexualities and is expected to participate in their activities and to teach one course during the fellowship. Compensation is commensurate with education and experience and will include Yale's benefits and a research budget. Postdoctoral Associates at Yale are appointed for 12-month terms. This position has funding for two years. There is the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and available funding. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2026.
Qualifications
PhD requirements must be completed by the beginning of the appointment and the PhD must have been awarded after spring 2023.
