Postdoctoral Fellow in Computer Science - Digital Health System

The Center for Technology and Behavioral Health (CTBH) at Dartmouth College invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow to lead technical research and development efforts for an innovative AI-driven mental health platform. The project combines advanced artificial intelligence with passive behavioral sensing. This position will conduct cutting-edge research at the intersection of mobile sensing, real-time data processing, and artificial intelligence while contributing to the development of novel digital health interventions. The role offers an opportunity to advance the field of technology-enabled mental health care through innovative research in passive sensing integration, system optimization, and scalable technology development.

This position is full-time, non-remote, in-residence at Dartmouth in Hanover, NH, with start date as early as July 1, 2025. Initial appointment is typically for one year, with possibility of renewal. The postdoctoral researcher will be primarily advised and hosted in the Department of Computer Science. They are also supported by the Guarini School for Graduate and Advanced Studies, including their community initiatives. In addition, we value applicants who have a demonstrated ability to contribute to Dartmouth's cohort initiatives in STEM research, such as the WISP, the EE Just Program, and the Academic Summer Undergraduate Research Experience.

Dartmouth is committed to academic excellence and encourages the open exchange of ideas within a culture of mutual respect. Dartmouth welcomes people with different backgrounds, life experiences, and perspectives and believes that diversity in all its forms enhances academic excellence. Applicants should address in their cover letter how their research, teaching, service, and/or life experiences prepare them to serve Dartmouth's commitment to academic excellence in an environment that is welcoming to all.
