Job Details

One position is available immediately in the Molecular Imaging Program at Stanford (MIPS). The position will span the Department of Bioengineering and the Stanford University School of Medicine, Department of Radiology (Katherine Ferrara, PI). The successful candidate will join a dynamic research group focusing on the development of peptide-based radio ligand therapeutics based on the use of machine learning-guided peptide design methods and mRNA/cDNA display techniques. The fellow will conduct interdisciplinary research to develop unique translational therapeutics against oncology targets.

Our federally-funded team is looking to add a motivated, ambitious, and highly qualified creative scientist with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The successful applicant must have a PhD in chemistry, bioengineering, biology or a related area. Our team offers opportunities in a wide range of technologies, but experience in organic synthesis, directed evolution, protein biochemistry, molecular biology, structural biology and/or quantitative computational modeling will be prioritized. Successful applicants will have a track record of productive research and publications. This position will remain open until filled and is available for a minimum of 1 year (up to 3 years). Salary will be determined based on the experience of the candidate and the University guidelines.
