Post-Doctoral Position
Postdoctoral Position in Molecular Regulation of Thrombosis and Inflammation
The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler, Tyler, Texas
Postdoctoral Research Associate Senior position is available in the Center for Biomedical Research at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center. We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate, senior, to join our research team for an exciting, fully funded position supported by the National Institute of Health and the UT Tyler Health Science Center.
Our laboratory focuses on understanding the role and molecular regulation of tissue factor in thromboinflammation across diverse disease conditions. We aim to uncover the cellular and biochemical mechanisms that control tissue factor expression, activation, and signaling, and how these pathways contribute to thrombotic risk in pathological states. This work integrates molecular biology, next generation sequencing, vascular biology, and translational approaches to identify cellular mechanisms and novel therapeutic targets and biomarkers.
Ideal candidates will have:
• A PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant biomedical or life science field
• Strong background in thrombosis, hemostasis, vascular biology, or inflammation (preferred but not required)
• Experience with cell and molecular biology techniques
• Experience in mouse surgical models strongly preferred but not mandatory
• A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
Applicants should submit their applications online at uttyler.edu/careers. The Job Posting ID is 15143.
