Postdoctoral Research Associate
The laboratory of Dr. Jennifer Bailey-Lundberg in the Department of Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position focused on tumor ablation in combination with chemotherapy and immunotherapy. This NIH and DoD-funded project aims to elucidate the mechanisms by which ablation therapies influence the tumor microenvironment and immune response in pancreatic cancer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead experiments investigating the tumor microenvironment and immune response alterations induced by ablation therapies.
- Utilize preclinical models and analyze human samples from ongoing clinical trials.
- Engage in the training and mentoring of graduate students.
- Participate in lab meetings and contribute to a collaborative research environment.
Required Qualifications:
- PhD in molecular biology, immunology, genetics, cell biology, or a related field (obtained within the past three years).
- Strong background in experimental design, bioinformatics, and execution related to immunology or cancer research.
Supplemental Qualifications:
- Highly motivated, independent, and hypothesis-driven scientist.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Salary Range: Salary Commensurate with Experience
