The Department of Natural Sciences and Sustainable Resources is currently seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate (Senior Lecturer)
This position is intended for individuals with a disability rating of at least 50%.
Extent of employment: 16 hours per week
Duration of employment: 1st of September 2026, limited to 31st of August 2028
Allocation in compliance with the Collective Agreement for University Staff to job group: B1 lit. b
Gross monthly salary: (depending on previous eligible experience) at least: € 2.005,70 (payable 14 times per year)

Responsibilities
- Assistance with teaching courses in German and English in one of the subject areas taught by the department. This may include, among others, the following fields: chemistry, mathematics, physics, statistics
- Assisting with course planning and the organization of insturction
- Administering and maintaining BOKU-Online at the institute or department level
- Further developing course content and designing new courses
- Participating in continuing education programs on university teaching methods
- Assisting with teaching evaluations and reporting
Required skills and qualifications
- Doctorate degree / PhD
- Language skills: Excellent command of German and English; ability to teach courses in both languages
Desirable skills and qualifications
- Completed doctoral degree in a discipline within the natural or formal sciences
- Very strong practical knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Experience teaching one or more courses in one or more of the department's subject areas (chemistry, mathematics, physics, statistics)
