You will also manage your own research activities, analysing complex data, and refining experimental approaches, while also contributing to new research ideas and funding applications. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues across research groups and external partners, as well as contributing to scientific publications and presentations.
It is essential that you hold a PhD/DPhil (or close to completion) in Biological Science, Biomedical Science, Immunology, or a related field, and will have experience in immunological techniques and in vivo tumour models, alongside strong organisational, analytical and communication skills. Experience in cancer vaccine research, bioinformatics, or supervising junior researchers would be advantageous.
