Research Associate in GlycoCell Engineering
About the role
The post is funded by the GlycoCell UKRI Engineering Biology Mission Hub to investigate how Engineering Biology can be exploited to produce new vaccines, diagnostics, and therapeutics, by industrialising the bio-manufacture of sugar-based biomolecules crucial to their development.
What you would be doing
To carry out research programmes in mass spectrometry based glycomic, proteomic and glycoproteomic analytics.

You will have a relevant PhD in the biological sciences and experience in the application of mass spectrometry to analyse biological molecules.

Further Information
This is a full-time, fixed-term post for up to 32 months.
The expected start date is 01 July 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Candidates who have not yet been officially awarded their PhD will be appointed as Research Assistant.
