Human germline and gonadal development: Postdoctoral Researcher
We are seeking highly motivated postdoctoral fellows to join our research program focused on human germline and gonadal development and their reconstitution in vitro.
Our laboratory aims to establish experimental platforms to derive functional human gametes in vitro. Through this work, we investigate fundamental questions in human reproductive biology, including:
- Lineage trajectories of developing human male germ cells
- Epigenetic regulation during germ cell development
- Specification of human gonadal somatic lineages and sex determination
- Molecular interactions between germ cells and gonadal somatic cells
Our studies aim to advance the mechanistic understanding of human reproduction and lay the foundation for future applications in reproductive medicine.
Qualifications
Applicants with a Ph.D. and/or M.D. training in any area of biology are encouraged to apply. Candidates with experience or interest in bioinformatics or computational biology are particularly welcome, but this is not required.
