Special Instructions to Applicants: This pool is for temporary, limited duration appointments potentially renewable for up to a total of three years. Applications accepted on a continuous basis through June 30, 2026, with screening as positions become available and continue until positions are filled.

Position Summary
The Department of Physical Education and Recreation is seeking qualified applicants for its open instruction pool. Positions are limited-duration appointments potentially renewable for up to three years. Course loads will be scheduled on an as-needed basis.
Potential courses may include, but not limited to: Basketball, Volleyball, Mind-Body, Swimming, Fitness, and Weight Training.

Minimum Requirements
- One year of experience, demonstrated expertise, and/or certification in the hired area of instruction.
- CPR and First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain prior to the start of the appointment.
Professional Competencies
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficiency with software applications for email, word processing, and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience with and/or commitment to working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds...
- Understanding of best practices in physical education.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Evidence of a commitment to student learning and development.
- Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development and instruction.
- Demonstrated knowledge of risk management.
