Position Summary
The Professional Rater II will assist study coordinators in numerous phases of a large R01 study. The study involves the assessment of children and their primary caregivers in dyadic interactions and cognitive assessments. This individual will be responsible for aiding in biologics data collection, aiding and administering behavioral assessments, aiding in MRIs, and various administrative tasks including scheduling, coding, record keeping, etc. This individual will be supervised by study PIs and Co-Is with expertise in specific aspects of the planned assessments. Some evening and Saturday availability is required for this position.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collection, storing, and shipping of biologics.
- Aid and administer some developmental testing to children.
- Screen, schedule, track, and consent study participants via phone and in-person as research protocols dictate.
- Interact with children in various experimental settings including interviews and dyadic behavioral assessments between caregiver and child.
- Aid in administration of MRIs and EEGs for child participants.
- Maintain protocol-related records and documentation.
- Administrative tasks including organizing and managing subject databases, and tracking and ordering supplies.
- Document participant information and data gathered during testing using the REDCap research database.

Required Qualifications
Education:

- Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire date

Salary Range
$19.21 - $28.85 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
