Monash University is seeking an outstanding clinical academic leader to become the next Professor and Head, School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health, one of Australia’s largest and most significant clinical academic environments.

Reporting to the Dean, Sub-Faculty of Clinical and Molecular Medicine, the appointee will provide strategic leadership across research, education, workforce development and partnership engagement within the School and broader Monash Health precinct. The role presents a rare opportunity to shape the future of an integrated academic health science environment and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the partnership between Monash University and Victoria’s largest health service.

The School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health is the Faculty’s largest clinical school and plays a major role in clinical teaching, translational research and clinician-scientist development. The successful candidate will lead a diverse and high-performing academic environment spanning medicine, surgery, paediatrics, psychiatry, obstetrics and gynaecology, radiology, nutrition and associated research centres.
