Background of the recruitment and description of the project
To develop human resources capable of responding to the growing societal needs arising from the rapid practical application of artificial intelligence, we invite applications for a faculty position specializing in AI research and education. The successful candidate should preferably also be capable of teaching and conducting research at the intersection of AI and sports.
Classes are taught in Japanese. Japanese is also used in meetings and other administrative activities.
Work content and job description
The successful candidate will be expected to conduct research in the broad field of artificial intelligence and to teach lectures and practical classes in relevant subjects within the Faculty’s Specialized Foundation Courses, Basic Data Science Courses, and Advanced Data Science Courses. Depending on the candidate’s expertise, these subjects may include Programming, Machine Learning, and Text Mining. The successful candidate will also be responsible for seminars, supervision of undergraduate theses, and related educational duties.

Compensation: Annual salary: 7 million yen - 12 million yen
Wages description: The amount shown is for reference only. The actual salary will be determined in accordance with the Rissho University Educational Corporation Salary Regulations.
Working hours: 09:00-21:45
Holidays: Sundays, national holidays prescribed by the Act on National Holidays, the University’s Foundation Day, and the year-end and New Year holidays.
*Employees may be required to work on holidays, or a weekly day off may be rescheduled to another day, by decision of the relevant University body.
