The professor will be responsible for education and research in the fields of operative dentistry and endodontics at both the undergraduate and graduate level. In addition, the professor will oversee and manage the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics at the Dental Hospital. The professor is also expected to lead the development of new conservative dental care based on prevention, regeneration, and infection control, with the goal of maintaining and restoring the biological functions of teeth.
