Part of a comprehensive research university, the College of Law is a dynamic urban-centered law school located in the heart of Atlanta with approximately 650 full- and part-time law students. Position Description

Georgia State University College of Law currently invites applicants for a full-time non-tenure track professor of practice position to begin in June 2026. We are seeking applicants with significant practice, teaching, and/or research interests to perform a range of teaching and administrative responsibilities in the College of Law. While the final division of duties depend upon the experience and expertise of the successful applicant, the duties that we are seeking are: (1) teaching across a variety of subject areas to support the College of Law’s JD, LLM, Legal Analytics programs, and any other programs upon our mutual agreement, which may include courses in Legal Analytics, Evidence, Introduction to US Law, Professional Responsibility, Civil Procedure, Corporations, Remedies, Legislation and Regulation, Securities Regulation, and other courses as needed. (2) supporting our Academic Success division by supporting students in preparation for the bar exam. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled and review will begin immediately.

Required Experience

Prior experience teaching law courses.

Required Education

Applicants should have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school or foreign equivalent.

$123,000
