Professor of Research & Statistical Methodology with Andrews University (Berrien Springs, MI)

Teach a full load of graduate courses in the field of educational psychology, research and statistics. Teach both quantitative & qualitative research methods for graduate interdisciplinary groups. Teach univariate and multivariate statistics techniques. Assist in developing curricula and delivering course material. Organize and advise research projects with students and colleagues. Serve as core faculty and committee member for the Educational Psychology degree and provide guidance on curriculum and programmatic decisions. Provide academic advisement support to students in the program, respond to inquiries regarding the overall academic unit, participate on doctoral dissertation committees, maintain an active research agenda as documented through publications and presentations, and participate (as methodologist primarily secondarily as member) on dissertation committees. Participate in developing and implementing University policies, guiding principles, objectives and functions in accordance with the philosophy of the University. Stay informed of current trends and new approaches to instruction, and new developments in the educational psychology field.

Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to the university office in Berrien Springs, MI.

Requires a Ph.D. degree in Business Administration, Education, Research, Statistics, Methodology, or related field and 2 years of related experience which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Teaching at the graduate level; SPSS Software for research; NVivo, ATLAS.ti (Qualitative Research); AMOS Software (Quantitative Research and Structural Equation Modelling); Google Forms, Survey Monkey (Data Collection); Zotero, Endnotes (Citation Management); and Use of AI Research Tools for Literature Review (Research Rabbit, Elicit, Connect Papers, Lit Maps, Paper Digest, Chat with PDF, Perplexity, and Humata).
