Professor of Statistics
Position Overview
The University of Chicago Booth School of Business seeks to appoint outstanding scholars to tenured faculty positions in Econometrics and Statistics, beginning in the 2026–27 academic year.
Successful candidates will join a community committed to excellence in research, teaching, and mentorship, contributing to an environment that values and supports diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
- A Ph.D. or equivalent in Econometrics and Statistics.
- Experience on the tenure-track faculty at a major research university.
- A strong record of original, high-quality research.
- Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the university level.
- Interest in contributing to the academic environment and scholarly community at the University of Chicago.
