We seek applicants who will provide services to prospective and participating students, parents, school districts, secondary school counselors, and high school teachers to expand programming, enhance Central’s visibility, and build a pipeline for undergraduate enrollment. Academic Affairs at Central is responsible for supporting and advancing the University’s mission by overseeing areas such as academic programming, curriculum development, faculty affairs, and institutional accreditation to ensure excellence in teaching, learning, and scholarship. Academic Affairs collaborates with the University’s colleges and schools, departments, and campus offices to uphold academic standards, support student success, and promote continuous improvement across all academic initiatives.
Position Profile
The Program Associate for Dual Credit will serve as the primary support coordinator for specialized accreditation processes associated with dual credit programs and as an advising resource for dual enrollment students. The incumbent will design, coordinate, and participate in outreach and engagement activities for dual and concurrent enrollment students, parents, faculty, and other related groups to support student success. They will collaborate with academic departments, the Provost's office, the Office of the Registrar, and campus partners to expand dual enrollment opportunities with high schools through the establishment of new partnerships and maintenance of existing partner relationships, support timely enrollment processes for all dual enrollment program participants, and develop and coordinate pre-collegiate programs for middle and high school students.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of and ability to apply principles and practices of program management, systems management, and student services. Comprehensive knowledge of and ability to apply Federal and State laws and regulations, including FERPA as well as university and CSCU policies and procedures. Ability to apply best practices in working with and addressing the needs of specialized student populations. Demonstrated knowledge of multicultural and social justice competencies. Knowledge of and ability to apply principles and practices of university administration including customer service delivery. Proficient in computerized systems, platforms, and software. Interpersonal and presentation skills required. Oral and written communication skills are necessary. Ability to collect, analyze, and prepare data and reports and other materials.

Education:
All applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Experience and Training:
Three (3) years of professional direct student-facing experience in administration, operations, program development, and/or service delivery related to outreach & engagement, advising, or accreditation within a college/university and/or K-12 public school setting.
Note: Professional experience does not include student worker or student intern experience at the undergraduate level. Experience as a graduate assistant or graduate intern in a university or college advising office or its equivalent shall serve as relevant experience and training may be prorated appropriately. Credentials or experience substantially comparable to the above may also be considered.

Compensation and Employee Benefits
The Program Associate for Dual Credit is compensated at the Administrator III salary level in accordance with the State University Organization of Administrative Faculty (SUOAF) Collective Bargaining Union Agreement.
