Program Coordinator II

Position Summary:

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Coordinator II for the School of Environmental Biological Sciences, Department of Food Science. This position will be responsible for administrative support of undergraduate & graduate academic programs, management & administrative functions & the preparation & control of records, statistics, reports & documents for the department.

Among the key duties of the position are the following:

• Works under direct supervision from the Department Chair, the Graduate Program Director & the Undergraduate Program Director, to manage routine or semi-routine work within established work parameters for the unit.
• Maintains student records, assigns advisors to students, schedules courses, and work closely with the Scheduling Office.
• Renders basic administrative assistance as required to support the operations of the department.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or a combination of education and/or relevant experience in an administrative position in an academic department of an institution of higher education.
