Job Description
The Program Director - Tampa in the Caylor School of Nursing shall assist the administrative head of the designated School and assist in the responsibility for growth and development of School programs, positive leadership of faculty, and effective operations of all aspects within the School. The Program Administrator shall assist in coordination of the work of the School. The Program Administrator will be responsible for leadership of all Outcomes Assessment activities and reports for the University, School, and approval/accreditation agencies.
Required Qualifications
- earned doctorate;
- successful teaching experience in higher education; and
- record of successful experience in higher education administration.
Preferred Qualifications
experience in private higher education.

Job Duties
- promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large:
- promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students;
- participate on University and School committees;
- ensure School compliance with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACSCOC) criteria for accreditation;
- assist the Dean, Program Chairs, and faculty in the process of curriculum development;
- assist with the process of seeking, achieving and maintaining program accreditation when appropriate;
- assist with the development, implementation, evaluation and preparation of annual reports of the Outcomes Assessment Plan for the ASN and BSN programs in the School;
- assist the Dean with the development, implementation, evaluation and preparation of annual reports of the Strategic Plan;
- assist with coordinating arrangements for orientation of new faculty and staff members;
- assist the Dean and Program Chairs in developing course schedules and assist as needed in monitoring program enrollments, class sizes, and grade distributions;
- assist with ensuring effective student advising;
- complete required institutional, program accreditation and other reports necessary for the operation and advancement of University programs, at the Tampa site;
- develop annual budget proposals that adequately and appropriately reflect needs of Tampa academic programs;
- coordinate Tampa budget preparation and management;
- teaching responsibilities as assigned; and
- perform other duties as assigned.
