Classification: ANU Officer 6/7 (Administration)
Salary package: $90,009 - $103,551 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full-time, Continuing
Position Description and Selection Criteria: Program Liaison Officer
The Position
Based at the ANU Acton Campus, the Program Liaison Officer supports stakeholder engagement and communications for the school. The role coordinates events and engagement activities, prepares communications for internal and external stakeholders, and plays a key role in delivering the school’s engagement initiatives.
The Person
We are seeking a highly organised team player with strong communication skills and experience supporting stakeholder engagement and communications in a complex environment. With attention to detail, cultural awareness and the ability to manage competing priorities, you deliver high-quality outcomes and support effective service delivery.
The School/Department
The School of Medicine and Psychology (SMP) was established in 2023 to bring together expertise from Medicine and Psychology to develop a unique educational and research environment. The focus is to produce psychologists, researchers, and medical graduates who practice compassion, conscience and professional excellence, and with a knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and culture. The school partners with a number of healthcare organisations to deliver teaching and training including but not limited to ACT Health, community practices throughout the ACT and Southeastern NSW.
The College/Division
The ANU College of Science and Medicine encompasses the following disciplines: Astronomy and Astrophysics, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Physics, Medicine and Psychology, and Medical Research. It is also home to various cross-disciplinary and specialist institutes and centres. Staff and students within the ANU College of Science and Medicine conduct research and deliver research-led education programs spanning the entire breadth of the sciences, supported by extensive international networks and world-class facilities.
