Program Manager - Code in Place

The School of Engineering at Stanford University is seeking a Program Manager for Code in Place. This is a 1-year fixed-term position exempt from the hiring freeze. Stanford Engineering drives innovation in technology and education, focusing on global challenges.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews and hire teaching assistants and remote section leaders.
- Collaborate with Stanford’s Center for Global and Online Education (CGOE) for program coordination.
- Serve as the point of contact for partnerships and growth opportunities.
- Manage team operations, provide guidance on program elements, handle student grievances, and support special needs.
- Prepare training materials, guidelines, and onboarding for section leaders; update as needed.
- Develop timelines, deliverables, and goals; compile evaluations and reports to enhance programs.
- Analyze policies, identify issues, and recommend improvements.
- Oversee certificate preparation.
Education & Experience (Required): Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (Required): Strong communication, basic computer skills, problem-solving, customer service, and understanding of compliance.
Desired: Experience in student interaction, lab settings, and managing multiple projects.
Working Conditions: May require extended hours; work with graduate and PhD students. Physical requirements include frequent sitting and occasional lifting.
Pay Range: $80,905 to $91,375 per annum.
