What you would be doing
In this role, you will take the lead in managing the design, organisation and delivery of our CPD & Skills Development programmes. Your work will ensure participants - ranging from industry professionals to academics - gain the skills and insights they need to thrive. You’ll guide and inspire your team, oversee budgets, and work closely with colleagues across Imperial and beyond to deliver impactful, high-quality programmes. Flexibility is the key, and you will be the steady hand behind the scenes and making sure every detail is seamless.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in staff management and the ability to motivate, support and grow a team.
- Experience in working with academic and industry professionals.
- Managing and developing programmes – a bonus if that’s within higher education.
- An analytical mindset with hands-on experience in financial planning and budget management.
- The flexibility and resilience to juggle multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Clear, diplomatic, and persuasive communication skills, with confidence in engaging people at all levels.
- A love of the challenge of turning ideas into practice and an ability to thrive when working with diverse people and perspectives.
- The capacity to navigate complexity, build relationships and champion the transformative power of learning.
