About the Role

We are looking to recruit an experienced administrator, who will manage and oversee the BSc Accountancy programme being run jointly with external partners, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

The role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the programme, and will oversee the examinations, work placements, admissions processes, timetable and other quality assurance processes. They will work closely with the Education Manager within the School to discuss and agree on strategies relating to education for the programmes and to manage the relationship with PwC and ICAEW.

The postholder will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality academic and placement experience, ensuring that all students benefit from a positive and professionally enriching journey throughout their time at Queen Mary.

About You

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have experience of managing teaching and learning activities or similar within Higher Education. You will have experience of managing teaching activities and programme management at either UG or PGT level within Higher Education.

Experience in developing and analysing policies and procedures is essential as well as the ability to inform decision making at a senior level. You will be a team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills who also can balance competing pressures, deadlines and complex demands as is the ability to manage a team in a fast-moving environment.

The School has a range of both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including programmes that are jointly run with other Schools. The School has over 2000 undergraduate students, and over 1000 postgraduate taught students.

Staff in the administration office work on campus a minimum of three days a week.
