Grant Project Administrator – College of Health Sciences
Gardner-Webb University is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Grant Project Administrator to manage the administrative and operational components of grants within the College of Health Sciences, including regional, state, and federally funded awards. The Project Administrator will play a key role in coordinating grant activities, supporting program operations, and ensuring compliance with regional, state, federal, and institutional requirements. The Grant Project Administrator will report to the Dean of the College of Health Sciences.
This is a grant-funded position through June 30, 2029.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the day-to-day administration of the grant activities, ensuring adherence to all regulations and institutional policies.
- Coordinate the Advisory Board, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and facilitating communication among members.
- Manage grant budgets, track expenditures, and prepare financial and progress reports for funding agencies and institutional leadership.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to ensure compliance with all grant requirements.
- Act as the primary administrative liaison between the grant team, institutional offices, community partners, and funding agencies.
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas and meeting minutes, and monitor project timelines and deliverables.
- Assist with procurement processes, contracts, and vendor agreements in support of grant activities.
- Support data collection, reporting, and audits as required by funding agencies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with grant management systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with grants or higher education programs.
