"Project Coordinator (0.8 - 1.0 FTE)"

The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is one of the world’s leading public health universities. The Project Coordinator will work within the International Centre for Evidence on Disability (ICED). The post-holder will be responsible for providing efficient administrative, logistical and financial support from set up to closure of research projects. The post-holder will work on ICED’s flagship programmes across Africa and Asia, supporting research on what works to improve the lives of people with disabilities, through employment, education and health programming, amongst others.

Applicants will need a higher education to degree level or equivalent or substantial relevant experience, with substantial experience of providing proactive administrative support in Higher Education and working closely with academic staff members. A proven ability to manage own work-load is essential alongside experience of managing funder compliance. Further particulars are included in the job description.

The post can be full-time or part-time, between 28 and 35 hours per week, 0.8 – 1 FTE and fixed-term until 31 July 2026. The post is funded by the FCDO and NIHR and is available immediately.

The salary will be on the LSHTM salary scale, Grade 5 in the range £39,432 - £45,097 per annum pro rata (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part-time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at LSHTM.
