The Centre for Science and Policy (CSaP) has an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our team who shares our commitment to improve policy making through the more effective use of evidence and expertise. Since 2009, we have been leaders in the UK in building a core network of several thousand researchers and public policy professionals spanning academia and public service.

CSaP is now recruiting a Project Coordinator to help deliver a major ESRC-funded initiative that will reshape how research informs public policy across the UK. EvEx brings together seven leading universities and national partners to create a cutting-edge 'Digital Campus' and new models of learning and exchange for public and civil servants, with an ambition to engage thousands of researchers, and civil and public servants, over three and a half years.

In this role, you will drive delivery across a national consortium, transforming a high-level business plan into impactful workstreams, timelines and milestones. You will help shape and launch the Digital Campus, develop practical toolkits and training for universities, and support flagship Policy Fellowship programmes and a national Research Programme Policy Exchange. You will play a key role in designing and delivering high-impact workshops, sandpits and labs that connect researchers with decision makers to address real-world policy challenges. Working closely with senior public and civil servants and academic partners, you will lead programme communications and digital engagement, use CRM and data to evidence impact, and support budget oversight and performance reporting.

We are looking for an experienced project coordinator with a background in higher education or policy, strong organisational and financial skills, and excellent written and verbal communication. Experience of events, digital content and CRM systems is important, alongside a good understanding of the research-policy interface and a genuine interest in public policy. A Bachelors degree, or equivalent professional experience, is essential. Some UK travel and occasional evening work will be required.

The funds for this post are available for 3.5 years in the first instance.

The interviews will be held on 20th and 25th of February.
