"Project Coordinator (Part Time, Fixed Term)"

The Faculty of History wishes to recruit a part time 0.2 FTE Project Coordinator to support the day-to-day organization of Professor Celia Donert's AHRC project 'Globalising Gender Studies after the Cold War: Histories and Movements, 1985-2025', a three-year international project hosted by the Faculty of History, University of Cambridge, in collaboration with the Women's Studies Centre, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaiso, Chile.

The Project Coordinator will work closely with the PI and Co-Is, to oversee all aspects of the budget, project organisation and communication, and liaise with our team members, partner institutions and non-academic project partners.

The postholder will provide administrative/secretarial support, organise meetings and events, travel, accommodation, catering, produce prepare agendas and other papers and circulate, take minutes and follow up actions. They will provide financial management and administration and will monitor project expenditure against budget using the university financial system. They will also carry out duties related to project publicity.

We are looking for someone educated to degree level/ level 6 vocational qualification or with the equivalent level of practical experience, who has experience of using Microsoft 365 suite and who has excellent planning, organisational and communication skills and strong research, analysis and reporting skills. Experience of project co-ordination is essential as is the capacity for independent working and using initiative (including problem solving), as well as co-operative team-building skills and a proactive and flexible approach to work.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 30 September 2028 in the first instance.
