Position Summary:
The Project Director will assist with the management of the Department of Justice Office of Violence Against Women (OVW) Grant to reduce sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking on campus program. The Project Director will serve as point of contact for the OVW Grant and manage implementation of grant programs and activities, grant reports and assessments, OVW correspondences, and budget management.
The Project Director will have responsibility for ensuring the development and implementation of statutory and other program requirements, as well as coordinating and managing all grant-related activities. They will have primary responsibility for building and/or strengthening collaborative relationships with the internal and external stakeholders supporting and advancing the project objectives and for directing timelines and tracking progress towards project completion. This is an exempt position reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs.
The Project Director is a position that is contingent upon funding which is anticipated to end on September 30, 2028.
Minimum Education/Experience/Skill:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- One (1) to two (2) years of progressively responsible work experience in prevention and response in the area(s) of sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking.
- Experience working in higher education.
Preferred Education/Experience/Skill:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Three (3) to five (5) years related experience with victim services and or related programs, this includes sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking prevention projects.
- Knowledge of the Department of Justice – Violence Against Women (OVW) Grants/Program
- Experience in implementing comprehensive policies and protocols for OVW grant projects within a college and/or university setting
- Knowledge of Title IX, VAWA, Clery Act, and other related federal and state statutes re: sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking prevention projects.
