As a part of the Library Deans' Office, the Project Manager will provide management for moderate to complex multi-year projects within the library. In this position, you will be responsible for activation, management, implementation, completion, and assessment of assigned projects. You will steward a portfolio of projects in multiple areas, potentially including projects related to library spaces, services, procedures, and culture. You will collaborate with colleagues from across the library organization and serve as a model for values-focused project management practices for the library community. You will report to the Director of Strategic Planning.

This position is a full-time, three-year term appointment with the possibility of renewal.
Required Qualifications:
- Four or more years of project management experience
- Demonstrated experience managing the initiation, implementation, and assessment of complex, multi-year projects
- Experience setting personal and team priorities
- Experience facilitating inclusive and productive team meetings and large group engagement sessions
- Experience facilitating groups of people that may have differing opinions, navigating conflict, and ensuring mutual understanding and productive next steps
- Experience developing successful workplace relationships to build trust and ensure project support from multiple project partners
- Knowledge of change management best practices, including the ability to understand diverse perspectives and acknowledge the significance of differences and complexities in background, cultures, values, and viewpoints as the foundation for an inclusive environment
- Experience gathering feedback from project partners and using feedback to gain new insights and approaches
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of strategic planning best practices
- Experience in a university, library, or museum work environment
- Experience managing building projects, including knowledge of design and construction phases
- Experience managing office space moves, including working with users to move into new spaces
- Experience conducting assessments that inform both the planning and evaluation of space- and service-related projects.
