The Opportunity
Join the Tyree Foundation Institute of Health Engineering (Tyree IHealthE) as part of a team driving the translation of innovative medical technologies from bench to bedside—enhancing healthcare practice and improving outcomes for patients, healthcare professionals, and the healthcare system. Tyree IHealthE has an opportunity for a Project Officer – Outreach & Education. In this key role, you will support the coordination and delivery of Tyree IHealthE’s engagement and learning initiatives. Working closely with the Program Leads, you will assist in organising public events, preparing communication materials, and supporting immersive education programs.
- Salary, Level 5: $88,717 to $100,386 per annum + 17% superannuation
- Full time
- Fixed term contract – 2 years
- Location: Kensington/Randwick – Sydney, Australia

Skills and Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent administrative experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills alongside a customer-focused attitude.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience providing administrative support in an educational setting (desirable).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- High level organisation skills with a demonstrated ability to deal with multiple tasks and projects, establish priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and a commitment to attending relevant training.
- Knowledge of equal opportunity principles.
- An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
