The Snow Vision Accelerator at the University of Sydney is seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Officer to support the coordination and delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects, programs and stakeholder initiatives.
Reporting into the Snow Vision Accelerator Program Manager, you will provide operational project management support across multiple workstreams, helping to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively. The role will see you coordinate project activities, manage logistics, support stakeholder engagement and contribute to the successful delivery of key events, including annual symposiums, workshops and research-focused initiatives.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Coordinate and deliver operational project management activities to support the planning, implementation and ongoing success of key programs and initiatives within the Snow Vision Accelerator.
- Organise and coordinate events, workshops, symposiums and stakeholder meetings, including venue management, logistics, communications and scheduling.
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables and milestones, proactively identifying risks or issues and implementing solutions to support successful outcomes.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including researchers, industry partners and collaborators, to support engagement and program delivery.
- Provide administrative and operational support, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, documentation preparation and reporting activities.
- Contribute to marketing and communication activities, including drafting content, supporting social media engagement and maintaining project management and program coordination tools.
