Hiring Wage/Salary Range: $15.55 - $21.50 / hour

This type of appointment is not approved to work more than 999 hours per year for all positions combined. Should incumbents work more than a total of 999 hours in a year the appointment may not continue beyond one year of service.

Accountabilities: The Psychological Science Teaching and Laboratory Intern will support the teaching and research mission of the Psychological and Brain Sciences (PBSC) Department at Colgate University. The person in this position will develop and coordinate programs designed to support students in PSYC 150, Introduction to Psychological Science, including holding weekly review sessions and regular exam preparation sessions, providing one-on-one tutoring, and coordinating the work of the study group leaders for the course. In addition, the intern may provide research support to one or two faculty members.

Professional Experience/ Qualifications: Experience conducting psychological research.

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related coursework is required by the start date. Degree from Colgate University is preferred.

Work Schedule: The position entails up to 30 hours/week for two 15 week semesters, and runs from late-August 2025 through mid-May 2026. This position is paid an hourly wage and approved for 900 hours per year.
