We are seeking an experienced Quality Officer to join our Quality Office, working closely with senior management and reporting to the Academic Director for Student Success, Continuation and Quality, the successful candidate will aid in the administration of our quality processes, and all associated functions.
You will be responsible for managing and servicing the Faculty Education Committee, Module Approval Panels, Post-Awards Boards, and Staff/Student Liaison Committees.
You will assist the Academic Director in acting as the guardian of the curriculum through management of Course Specification Forms (CSFs) and Module Definition Forms (MDFs), preparing the Academic Calendar and analysing quality data, providing regular and accurate management information. You will provide advice and guidance on our quality processes to staff and students.
You will help to administer curricular developments and will have involvement in the continual enhancement of our quality assurance.
The successful candidate will be motivated to carry forward tasks to completion with minimal guidance. You will deliver an effective and high-quality service, which centres on attention to detail and forward planning.
You must hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent. You will ideally have experience of working in a quality assurance role, preferably in HE. Working knowledge of HE academic regulations would be beneficial.
As with all staff, you will be jointly responsible for ensuring an excellent student experience and may be asked to take on other duties commensurate with the responsibilities and purpose of the post, in this regard, from time to time.
