This is a remote position, with the candidate residing in Connecticut. The candidate will be expected to come to the Manhattanville University campus for specific and clearly outlined recruitment events.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist prospective students with the submission of application documents
- Complete initial application reviews as a member of the first-year applicant admission committee
- Work closely with members of the financial aid team in order to explain pertinent information to families applying for need and merit-based financial aid.
- Extensive travel: 12-15 weeks in the fall and 6-8 weeks in the spring within the assigned geographic territory.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel long distances
- Availability to work some evenings and weekends is a must
- Ability to come to Manhattanville University for special events, including but not limited to Open Houses, Admitted Students Days, and other on-campus recruitment events.
- Participate in professional organizations and professional development opportunities to maintain current trends in University admissions
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Associate Director and/or Assistant Vice President of Undergraduate Admissions.
- Other responsibilities include a strong knowledge and understanding of social media applications, interviewing prospective students, and working with families who are navigating the University search process, and participation in campus recruitment events.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask and be detail-oriented.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Occasional evening and weekend work
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable and unlimited access to a vehicle
- Able to be an agent of change in a rapidly changing environment.
- Proven ability to analyze data to identify trends and drive innovation within the related field.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience:
Preference will be given in the evaluation process to candidates with prior experience working in an undergraduate admissions office.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Ability to sit for long periods of time
Salary:
This is an exempt 10-month position. The annual salary for this position is $56,000.00 per year.
Hours Expectation:
Full-time, 35 hours per week, 10 Months
