"REGISTERED NURSE (Mott Childrens Hospital- 8E-Child and Adolescent Psychiatry)"

Provide expert nursing care to psychiatric patients on the Child/Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric unit. Perform charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Current license to practice nursing in the State of Michigan.
• Graduate nurses considered.
• Must have strong desire to work with psych patients.

NOTE: Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position.

Condition of hire for Graduate Nurses: Selected GN must successfully pass N-CLEX and be licensed as a RN in the state of Michigan no later than 45 days from date of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN
• Recent inpatient psychiatry experience and/or inpatient pediatric experience within the past two years.
• Experience in the utilization of Crisis Intervention Prevention (CPI).
• Demonstrated knowledge of cognitive behavioral treatment of depression and other psychiatric disorders.

Hourly range for Registered Nurses $40.18-$62.31/ hour

• Evening Shift Differential-$3.00 / hour
• Night Shift Differential- $4.00 / hour
• Day Shift Weekend Differential- $2.90 / hour
• Evening Shift Weekend Differential- $5.90 / hour
• Night Shift Weekend Differential- $6.90 / hour
• Charge Nurse Differential- $1.00 / hour
