We are seeking a skilled and motivated researcher to join the School of Infection & Immunity, MRC-University of Glasgow Centre for Virus Research (CVR), who will play a leading role in a Pfizer-funded research programme focussed on vaccine effectiveness of maternal RSV vaccination in infants in Scotland.
This study will be a secondary data analysis of routinely collected healthcare data.
The successful candidate will work within the National Safe Haven secure research environment to prepare the linked datasets and undertake analysis according to the study protocol and statistical analysis plan.
You should have experience in epidemiological analysis using routine healthcare datasets, along with advanced skills in coding in R and/or Stata. Completion of MRC or equivalent GDPR training in the last 3 years is desirable.
In addition to conducting analyses, the post-holder will contribute to the preparation and submission of research publications and reports for the commercial funder. You will also be encouraged to participate in other research publications and develop new research proposals as opportunities arise.
